TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pensacola

Found this hotel online and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Khrista in housekeeping went above and beyond to answer all of our questions even though she was busy with her work. And Tierra in the kitchen/breakfast area did an amazing job keeping the breakfast stocked and ready all by herself. They were all so good they deserve a raise. ☺️ The hotel is also pet friendly, but honestly it was so clean I wasn't sure at first. Very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness. I will definitely be booking here again!! Two thumbs up 👍👍.

Excellent hotel. Kitchenette and utensils were clean and functional. Bath towels clean and soft. Quiet room and I got a good night's sleep. Most impressive was the manager's welcome. She was very attentive and friendly. I stay in a lot of hotels around the country, and she is an asset for the Marriot brand. Breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was very nice and cheerful. I'll stay here again next chance I get. Thanks Gigi!

A little frustrating. Our profile specifically says first floor and extra towels. At check-in, they said "Oops, we didn't see that all we have is 2nd floor." Oops? So, what's that in the profile? I'd rather not have to jump far should there be a fire. We accepted the 2-bedroom suite on the 2nd floor. It was a handicapped accessible room. The blackout drapes were torn, but we were able to blackout the daylight and the 4' long handles to make it easier for the seated handicapped individual to close the drapes were missing on a window. When you're checking into a 2-bedroom suite, you can assume there are 2 people. And they probably have 2 laptops that they'd like to set up. But there are no desks in these rooms and the dining room table quickly turns into the office. And that gets very crowded for 2 people with laptops, monitors, keyboards, and mouse. One bedroom has to have a desk. One bedroom nightstand had no charging ports or electrical outlets to charge your cellphone overnight. The other nightstand had 1 outlet with 2 plugs by the bed - for the laptop, monitor, phone? How? Do these rooms really accommodate the customers needs?

Star was wonderful, professional and courteous! Give her a raise! All the staff was nice and helpful, but I talked to Star every morning. It was nice to see the same person everyday at breakfast and she was very engaging and hospitable every time! Coffee was awesome! However, there was mold on the floor in the bathroom, the tub filled up with water when taking a shower and the rooms were smaller than expected. I think this building must have been a hotel before they made it a town suites. Location was cool though, near the interstate!
